"You must learn...to see what you are looking at."

--Glaedr, the yellow dragon, in Inheritance.

Hi!
I noticed I haven't blogged for a while.
I really wasn't aware of it.

Ahh, the entire week we've been reading and analyzing Ray Bradbury's story, "There Will Come Soft Rains". We circled new vocabulary like 'cavorting' and 'tremulous'. We underlined or highlighted figures of speech. I'm going to give some examples of the ones I found:
"the voice-clock sang"—personification
"electric eyes"—metaphor
"the toast was like stone"—simile

Yup. There's more, but I won't write all of them here.

I actually sketched some of the scenes of the story on my book, and will scan them later.
I like Ray Bradbury's writing, although I have only read "The Pedestrian", "Fahrenheit 451" and now this. I'd love to read more!

I'm used to my braces, but my leg is still giving me trouble. We went to the doctor again today, and he was pressing on some places on my foot while talking to my dad, and they both did not see my painful expression. Ha ha, I might draw that now.

Ah, I have no pictures for today. I'll go draw some.
Wow, short entry.
