Inquiry

Is it correct to say "I could of..." ?
I see people using it and I get a little...not frustrated, but annoyed when I see it. Is it a mistake or am I just wrong?
Isn't it "I could have..." ?

The Entry of 4 Days

Hello!
On Saturday, I started working on my pepper dragon. It took hours, but the base is pretty much complete. When I have art class I'll start colouring it. And this is a statue.
It took too long to make. Too long.

After lunch, we got in the car, and started driving to Beypazarı. The company my parents work in was having a dinner there.
On the road we listened to Radyo ODTU because it was working until we got too far away from Ankara. Since the sun sets earlier now, it was dark, but the sky wasn't its usual black. No, it was a different colour that blended with the snowy hills, and it looked like there was no horizon.
While we entered the city, I saw a statue of a carrot. Amused, I pointed it out, and my mother told me of how there were food statues everywhere around Turkey.
The restaurant we were to have dinner in was already filled with acquaintances and friends when we arrived. We sat down and everybody was chatting with whoever was sitting nearby. Soon two men appeared in this corner, with microphones and musical instruments. I though Oh, not again! Bad live music.... But it wasn't like that. At first it was a little awkward. They played a few songs, and then another man came. He was the owner of the restaurant, and he told us his father—age 85—would sing for us, and then dance. Before that, he gave a long speech about citizens of Beypazarı, their habits, traits. It was interesting. He said the people of Beypazarı liked saving and were thrifty. He told us some jokes, then they danced and sung, and it was fun. We ate delicious food. Before the main dishes, they called a few women from our group to a place in the back. Then together they acted out a 'Kına Gecesi". One of the men—I think his name was Mustafa?—told us the story of his life. He said he was in a car crash, and he woke up one month later in a hospital. His left eyes was blind, his right eye couldn't look to the right. His arm was 6 cm shorter than the other, and so was the leg. But somehow he made us all laugh. All of us. And then he said "I'm happy!". Thank you for making me more optimistic, and letting us have a wonderful night. May the stars watch over you.

The next day, we were still in Beypazarı. We had a wonderful "köy kahvaltısı", and then went outside with other people to shop and look around. We saw a sing that read "Yaşayan Müze" which means "The Museum That Lives", basically. Curious, we walked to the museum. No one was at the entrance, so we just went inside. We climbed some stairs, and this man greeted us. We bought our tickets from him, and we faced a door. In front of us was standing a girl, dressed like a cliche Turkish village woman. She spoke in a cliche accent, and then switched to her actual accent, and introduced us to the museum. This wasn't a usual museum with artifacts, here their purpose was to show visitors the Turkish culture and things done in Beypazarı with demonstrations.
We were led inside. First we went to a room where two women were doing "kurşun dökmek". I'm not sure what it is in English, but they boil lead and pour it into water over your head so the 'nazar' goes away. Nazar means "look". If someone looks at you intensely—it can be a bad or loving look—you get nazar. She did the process for us, and said I had a lot of nazar!
In the next room, we did ebru (you put paint on water and then put the paper on it...) and then designed out own t-shirts/handkerchiefs/etc.
We travelled to the upper floor. A man made me and my mom perform a Hacivat and Karagöz skit (shadow puppetry!), then taught us some old Turkish board games.
The next room was a normal room, with wooden floors and old pillows. In the corner another girl sat. She told us an old tale about Keloğlan (who is a popular Turkish character...who is bald and a kid). She was just amazing. She wasn't even talking to us in her normal voice. She was a wonderful storyteller.
Well, we exited the museum and walked to the "Gümüş Çarşısı" (Silver Market) to buy jewelry. I got myself a bracelet out of amethyst, because it's a pretty stone and it's the only one I believe in.
That's pretty much it about Beypazarı. We went home after lunch.

Monday was uneventful, I just spent my afternoon preparing my friend's birthday present. I hope he liked it. Aaaaand a happy birthday to him!

Tuesday. Today. Hm, it was surprisingly exciting—Tuesday's are always slow and boring. Sometime in the morning, Ezgi came to me and said "I need to buy that cupcake!". We agreed to go to Starbucks again. In Spanish class, out teacher was absent, so we went up to the German classroom. We watched a movie until the teacher got bored and realized we weren't actually watching. She told us to quietly do other things like homework. My friend Denizhan asked to use my Nintendo DS for some reason, and I let him. So he had his own and I had mine, and they were connected over Wi-Fi, and then the teacher said "Okay kids put away everything and I'll give you assignments". We hadn't saved, so while doing our assignments we were secretly pressing some buttons with our DS' in our bags. It was kind of funny.
Anyway, after school we went to the bus. Some eight graders had turned on the radio, so we were listening to random pop songs and fake-dancing along the whole way. We got near Starbucks, and I shouted over to the bus driver to ask him to drop us off here. He apparently did not hear us. So there was just confusion and a lot of screaming, but we finally got off and had to walk a little longer. Oh well. Ezgi got her cupcake.
There's this man at Starbucks. Ezgi once stepped on his foot, and ever since then, whenever we come, he jokes about something and we chat. It's really cool.

Then I came home, finished my homework before even looking at the computer, and I've been free since then. I wrote a bit more, and I'm finishing this blog entry now. I'll write a lot more today (hopefully). Even if I don't, I'm planning to discuss the story and the characters with my friends/advisors.

Um, Mr. Dale, a little note to you: When I saw the length of that comment you wrote on Cem's blog, I felt rather upset and envious, because I value your feedback so much. So when I post my first chapter, I'd be more than overjoyed if you told me your feedback not just on grammar and naming, but on the plot and the characters as well.

The post seems so long, I'll edit it later. I really want to post some drawings...Um, here's Ellyn and Edmund, drawn after my Art Final:

I should scan this.

Birthday Muffins

Well, good evening.
This morning I was sleepier than usual, and was mentally complaining about how it wasn't a snow day. In biology class, as we did tests for proteins, sugar, fats, etc. in the lab, we all watched it snow, wishing to be home that moment. To our luck, we discovered that the busses were going to take us home at 11:00.
We had to sit through 50 minutes of Physics, and it passed rather quickly.
So we went home, and my plan was to write for hours, but I got distracted.

Anyway, today is the birthday of one of the characters in our Percy Jackson inspired story. His name was Maxwell Goodwin, and he was a demigod son of Hephaestus. His genetics gave him powers like control over fire and a natural talent for building things like gadgets, machines, and similar tech. He never did anything in the forges though. I realized I've never drawn him properly, so I'm doing that now. A happy birthday to him.

Before I began this post, I opened the file for that story and skimmed through it. Sometimes I feel like I wrote better then than I do now. Perhaps it's because I wrote more, I had more time to write. Now, to be honest, I don't like my writing. I don't feel satisfied.
Maybe I'm just thinking like this right now because I'm gloomy.

Hmph. I have a head ache.

Now, back to writing. Or drawing. Or reading BNW. Depends on my mood.

I'm Writing...

It's amazing how a piece of paper can get you as excited as it got me.
Before going home I went to Starbucks with Ezgi again, and we talked about what we would do about this certain piece of paper (and other gossip too). While in line, we saw a cupcake with pink frosting, and it was new. I believe Ezgi will talk about this later so I won't say much.

I was writing my novel/novella/we'll-see-how-long-it-will-be book, and I decided to come here and blog about the characters.

I had written a lot, but decided they should be revealed within the context, and deleted it.
Only thing I'll say is:
Kael is a curious teen without limits.
Oran is a know-it-all.
Adrian is awesome.
Most of the main characters haven't been introduced yet.

I wrote more, but I'll post it when the first chapter is done. And that might take a while.

Yesterday I bought the new Coldplay album, and uploaded it onto my computer and my iPod, so if you see me walking around humming with my earphones on, that's because I'll be listening to it.

Hmm hmm hmm... I don't know what else to say. It's my friends birthday next Tuesday, and I knew what I was going to give to him, but I'm not so sure now...

Now back to writing.

Homework

On Tuesday we were handed a photocopy of a magazine article from December 1900. It's title was "What May Happen in the Next Hundred Years", and it was written by John Elfreth Watkins. Our assignment is to compare the predictions in this article with the book Brave New World. I haven't read that far yet.
The first similarity I noticed was about the wild animals. The article says "There will be no wild animals except in menageries." In the novel, so far no animals have been mentioned, and it's as if they don't exist at all.
Then there's the item about cars taking the place of horses and air-ships. It seems like in the book, air-ships have taken the place of both cars and horses.
One paragraph talked about how university would be free and how education would be different. That happened in Brave New World, but in a different way than John Watkins had guessed. I was about to say "I won't say more because SPOILER!" but only 2-3 people read my blog and no one comments—It really frustrates me too—so I'll just explain it. Education in the novel occurs mostly at sleep or at babyhood. They make them listen to tapes, or electrocute them to make them dislike something. While in our world students sit in classrooms with teachers.
I would write more but I've had a boring day and I'm sleepy.

Snow

SNOW SNOW SNOW!!
Yesterday night my mother and the radio told me it was snowing...a lot! I didn't get very hopeful.
Though in the morning, for some reason I woke up rather early. I was rolling around, trying to sleep, when I heard the phone ring. Why would anyone call at this time? My mother picked it up. Then she opened my door, and a blinding light filled my room. She was asking me a phone number, and I have no idea why I was able to tell her while being half asleep and wincing from the sudden light.
Anyway, so it's a snow day. The only down side of this is that I'm missing English class and I can't trade Pokemon with my friends. And I don't know what I'm going to do for lunch.
Oh well, time to go do other stuff.

Year of the Dragon

As some people might know, today is the beginning of the Chinese New Year.
2012 is a Year of the Dragon, and it happens every 12 years, like the rest of the animal years.
The animals making up this Chinese calender are (in order) Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. I myself was born on the Year of the Ox—so were most of my classmates.
Dragons are more than large lizards with wings which breathe fire. Many civilizations believed in dragons. They were wise, cunning, mighty, powerful creatures. They were guards, rulers of seas. A story from the 13th century says when a snake reached the age of 100, God threw it into the sea, and it grew fins, becoming a dragon. In tales (mythological or not) if one killed a dragon, s/he was considered mighty.
I think this belief began when Turks roamed Middle Asia, and still continues (but in a lower degree, if that makes any sense).
What of the zodiac? In front of me I have an issue of National Geographic Kids from February 2005 (I only kept it because of the Chinese Zodiac pages...). In this issue, it says that people with this zodiac would do anything to help their friends, and that their friends came to them for advice. They are also very outgoing and extroverted.
Another source says Dragon's are free, and everything they do is 'on a grand scale'. It gives traits, like: innovative, self-assured, brave, passionate, conceited, quick-tempered, and scrutinizing. Apparently they get along with Rats and Monkeys, and are enemies with Dogs.
What to expect of this year? I expect significant, big things, something to suit the might of the Dragon. Events to change all of humanity, events to bring us knowledge, to enlighten us.
Then there’s the probability of this significant event turning out to be the apocalypse, but always hope for the best!
I wish you a happy Year of the Dragon. :)

For more, visit this website.
I think I might draw something to go with it.
Mr. Dale, if you think it's okay, comment, so I'll post it on the class blog.

Edit: my sketch of a Chinese Dragon :)

Story Chapter I Part I

Hohoho I feel weird. I'm confused (though somethings have become clearer) and distracted.
I read 2-3 chapters of Brave New World, and I like it, but the book also frustrates me because of what they do to the babies and how they are created to be a certain kind of person.

Um, I was supposed to talk about the dodecahedron, but I think I'll do that tomorrow.
I've been doing math homework all day. Why do we have to solve our 3 tests again? Grrr...

I found really cool stuff. I found a box of my LPS toys, which are basically tiny animals with big bobbly heads. We used to be obsessed with them with my friend Eda, and she had a bigger collection than mine, but I have over 30 of these guys. My favorites are naturally the first ones I had (three hamsters, a cat, and a rabbit), but my favorite designs were of some monkeys, a giraffe (which was rare and hard to get), a seahorse, birds, cats, this flying squirrel/cat and a seal wearing a polar bear hat.
And I found my Pokemon cards. I never had many, but I think I have good ones.
It's nice to see my old toys and remember what I did with them.

For some reason I switched from coloured pencils to markers. I think it's because I looked at the online gallery of the artist of the new Supergirl comic (he's Turkish!!) and he uses markers. I'm working on this project that I think will turn out awesome. I'm 45% done with it.

OH and my friend Ezgi is amazing, and she not only gave me a great idea, she read and edited my writing. Before I put it here though, a little summary of everything:
Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrr away from the Earth, there exists a planet (I didn't name it yet, I need help with that) and this is a story about the adventures of its inhabitants. The very main character Kael, accompanied by his sarcastic childhood friend Oran, classmate Isadora (who I think is a rather interesting character), the agile Claudia, and the lonely Axel (Müfit's character), find themselves forced to form a team and complete a task that none of them like. No, this is not your ordinary "find the lost important item and destroy it" kind of story.
I hope someone enjoys this (by the way, the _______'s might be distracting, I'm sorry):

“Once upon a time, there was a planet named _______. It was a colourful place, with skies of lilac, grasses of blue, seas of violet, fluffy white clouds, and strange little men and women—” said Adrian.
“We already know this! Tell us a different story!” his little brother, Oran, complained.
“But I’m going to tell you more this time! Things you didn’t know, adventures! Don’t you like adventures?”
“I like adventures!” Oran’s friend, Kael replied. The two kids lay in separate beds as Adrian sat between them. The aurora shone through the window and illuminated his face.
“Let me continue then. So there were the strange little men and women, and they were all different colours, like we are. One was orange skinned like me and daddy, another was blue like Kael, another green like Oran, some where pink like mommy, some yellow, and so on. Their eyes represented which family they came from. Have you noticed how Oran, mom, dad and I have the same eye colour, and you have a different one, Kael? And these strange people of ________ also had a wonderful ability. They could transform to an animal native to _____. Usually people from the same family or race had the same animal, like Oran and I. And your animal is the same with your dad, Kael! These people lived in peace for a looooooong time! They believed in a goddess named _____, and she was a fun goddess, so she made them all colourful! In this planet, one large continent was surrounded by the wide, deep, ocean. The lower part of this continent was named the Capital. It was where most of the people went. The other parts became smaller cities. Years passed, and an evil man wanted to control this planet. He gathered followers, and took over the smaller cities! He was very mean! In the edge of the Capital, there were two mountains. In a valley between them, a small village. A very brave man lived in this village. He didn’t like what the evil man was doing, so he started to fight against him. There was a huge war, it went on for years, but in the end the good guys won. They sent the evil ruler far far away, and they built a giant castle in the valley. The man became a king. Do you know where he is now?”
“No! Where is he?” Kael asked.
“I know all of this! I’m going to sleep.” grumbled Oran and turned away.
“Good night,” Adrian said to his little brother and continued, “The King lives in the castle! He’s far away from us, but he’s still there! He’s older. And he has a very organized army so nothing goes wrong!”
“Wow! I wish I could meet him someday!” Kael mumbled and yawned.
“I’m sure you will, but sleep now.” Adrian tucked him in. “Sleep well.”
“Good night...thank you for the story.”
“Anytime, Kael.”

When the two boys were asleep, Adrian walked to his mothers room. Their house was rather small. It was put together with whatever they could find: thick bark, white metal, branches. All the houses in this Northern city were like this. It was perhaps the most ignored city in _____. The people were poor, but happy. Only the children had big desires, and those faded away as they grew.
Adrian smiled as he remembered Kael and Oran telling him their hopes and dreams.
“I want to find out what’s there!” Kael had said, pointing up at the dark sky with glowing freckles.
“I...want to know everything there is to know.” was Oran’s response to the question.
If they can keep those dreams until they’re of age, they’ll need to get to Central to make them come true, he thought.
Their mother was a bony woman, with gentle pink skin and a sad smile. It had been almost a year since their fathers death, but their situation had just become worse.
“Hello, Adrian.” she said as her older son entered her room.
“Mother,” Adrian greeted her shortly. He had something to say, and she wasn’t going to like it.
“Are they sleeping?” she asked.
“Yes,” Adrian replied, “um, mother, I want to talk to you.”
“Are we not talking now, sweetie?” his mother laughed lightly.
Adrian paused. His face expressionless, his heart heavy.
“Well, spit it out!”
“I’m going to join the air force.”
Now his mother stopped. She watched his face carefully as she took in his words. There was determination on his face, he looked unusually serious.
“I’m sure you have a good reason for it and you’ve thought it through.”
“Yes.”
She sighed, “Then alright, Adrian. I respect your choices. But...promise me you’ll...you’ll take care of yourself a-and come home safe...” her voice cracked and her forehead crinkled. She gulped.
Adrian looked away. Tears gathered around his eyes, but he blinked them away. He couldn’t look weak. Not at this moment. His mother was frustrating him. He expected her to object, to argue, but she had just accepted it.
“I p-promise.” he said shortly before his voice broke.
“Sleep, Adrian. We’ll talk more in the morning.”
Adrian nodded, and walked off.

* * * * *

I wrote more, but I didn't post it yet. This is all you get, ha-ha.
No actually I want to complete the first chapter and then see what I do.

I have this notebook that is a bit like an encyclopedia for this story, but I stopped writing in it. I might finish it up sometime, it's always nice to have a visual of everything. The Capital is in the South. Adrian, Oran and Kael are currently living in a Northern city. I need to find my plot map and then make something like a treasure map using my own map of the planet (which I have).

I would put up my drawings of them, but I don't think I have made proper character art yet.

I would appreciate comments. From everybody. Hint hint.

The Demigod Diaries

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPP! I found Rick Riordan's blog!
I was always following him on goodreads.com but I found his blogger! Right here.
The blog entry titled "The Serpent's Shadow" is about two new books. One of them is another short story book like The Demigod Files—which is just sitting to my left; I think I'll read it again. This new book is named The Demigod Diaries and includes a prequel to the first PJatO book, a 'classic Percy story', a story about Leo Valdez (AWESOME) and a story by Rick's son, Haley!
I would be extremely excited about it, but it comes out in August.

I also discovered how to edit fonts and colours and etc.

I was going to post my story, but I'm waiting for my friend Ezgi to read it and comment on it.

Doop dee deep doop.
Lets go read Brave New World.

Thingamabobs

Good evening!
Today in English class we made a list of factors that made up/influenced our identity. The list contained items like environment, society, fears, heredity, emotions...and food. It was fun.
And then every person had to say the name of a geometric shape. I said dodecahedron, which is awesome.
A dodecahedron:

And its net:

Anyway, then we had to think of which shape was most similar to us, and I picked the dodecahedron again. Because it has many sides, representing my personality (I'm not two faced, I have many features, that's what I mean), it's hard to make/draw representing my...I don't know, complexity? Because every person is complicated in their own way.

On Tuesday I think, I had 8 minutes of writing time, right? Well I began my 'book' then. I had written the beginning at least 10 times before, and I didn't like any.
Today I went to Starbucks with Ezgi after school, and she gave me an idea about the beginning. I got home and started writing. Now I feel like my block is lifted, and I want to keep writing but I have homework. I was going to post what I had written here, but I decided I should get opinions first and edit it.
Also Mr. Dale, this is not an accusation, but since you let us out late, I was in a rush and forgot to take my science books. So I couldn't do any of my homework. I guess I should thank you for making me realize I should have taken them home yesterday.

Chubby Pigeon Out.
I think I'll sign all my posts like that from now on.

Umm...

I think I just had this outburst of emotions earlier today, so sorry about that.
Really. Now I have that guilt feeling.
It's this feeling that weighs my heart down, as I like to call it. It feels heavier and like someone's squeezing it. Horrible horrible horrible feeling. It gets me thinking. And distracts me from everything.

Tirade 2

I just got from school, and I am almost as angry as I can get.
Why? Because I can't state my opinion. Because I had things to say that I thought were significant.
Even before you told us to put this on our blogs, Mr. Dale, I was thinking about what I would write, and here it is.

First of all the egg and the sperm are ALIVE even before the fertilization. Bacteria are alive, fungi are alive, plants are alive, but they don't eat or breathe. They do NUTRITION and RESPIRATION in their own ways, just because they're not an animal or human doesn't mean they aren't alive. Unless the world of science is fooling us all, your point is invalid.
Second of all, if a couple wants to have a baby, they keep it. But if a woman gets raped and gets pregnant and does NOT want the baby, none of this was her choice and it was done against her will. Rape is illegal, desired intercourse is not. Do you really think they should get treated the same way?
Thirdly, if you want to give a 7 minute speech PLEASE try to stay on topic and think about what you're saying. I wanted to talk, but had no time left.
The topic was not abortion, it was about if not-yet-born embryos should be classified as people. If you go off topic you leave people as frustrated as I am right now.

If the class went on for another 10 minutes I'd probably be screaming at everybody.

When I was done writing I read what I had written and decided it was too offensive, and changed it as best as I could. I actually had more to say, but whatever.
I'm never going first in a discussion again. Never.

50

Hi! This is apparently my 50th post! I don't know if it's counting my drafts though.
Our finals are finished, and I'm very tired, but oh well.

I want to talk about study hall.
When our afternoon exams finished early, we could go home, but I decided to stay at school. Usually when we have study times, it's more like free time, and we do whatever we want. Apparently that's not the case with high school. We went to the room with a couple friends, and sat next to each other. We were just having fun when our physics teacher said "I have to go somewhere guys."
So he left, and the high school principle came instead. He told us to sit apart, stop eating, and study. He was sitting a meter away from me and it wasn't very nice. I mean, he's cool and all, but those 2 hours were boringgggggggg...
The next day, I stayed for study hall again. This time we sat at the back of the room, and since nobody told us anything, we played video games and chatted. When the principle came again, he said "Wow, I can see you guys are studying very hard!!"
We just nodded and chimed "Yup! Definitely!" and he left. He came once again, said the same thing, and got the same reply.
The next day he did the same thing, and so did we. And whenever we saw him, he said "You guys are studying hard, huh?" and he told us to go somewhere else.

While having our Spanish exam, I realized 'mundo' meant world, like 'el mundo del cine' is the world of cinema. And the 'mund' in EdMUND also meant world. Ah, Latin roots.

My dad got me a keychain with a dragon attached to it. How awesome is that? I'm going to clip it to Charlie (my pencil case).

I don't want to do anything for a week. Why was the holiday before the finals?

The art final was so bad. We had to draw the elements and principles of art, so in the end that was like 15 drawing/paintings. And I drew horribly. So horribly. Ew.
It was 3 hours too! I was in a bad mood for a long time afterward and I think one of my friends thought I was mad at him, but I really wasn't.

There's more I could say, but not enough time. Good night!

Finals

Next week we have about 10-11 3 hour exams. I'm not excited about it.
I've always been over-relaxed when I have exams (and I made some mistakes because of that too) but now I'm stressed because I don't know what to do, I don't know if I'll be able to keep all that information in my mind.
To study for English I think I'll write something and read Fahrenheit 451, the Hobbit, and Brave New World. My English is on the level that it is now because I read and wrote.

On the bright side, I went to the dentist who changed the wire on my braces. Usually it aches and I can't eat, but nothing happened. Yessssssssssssss!

Next Friday after the last exam, I think I want to go somewhere with my friends and do fun things like running around awkwardly and making people stare at us. Because that's always fun. And then we can play pool. Or laser tag. Yes, laser tag. I love that game because I go up to the second floor and act like a sniper, and when I shoot people they look around trying to locate me but I duck and hide and laugh evilly.

By the way, if I blog next week it will be to complain/brag about exams.

Good luck to everybody.

This is a short entry...Lets fill it up with images!!

Haha this one makes me laugh! I drew it after reading "Teen Titans: Year One". These are the original 4 Teen Titans: Wonder Girl, Robin, Aqualad, and Kid Flash. In TT:YO Aqualad was always screaming when he saw animals, and that's why there's a squirrel on his head.

Wow I have nothing else to post,

Has 2012 been a good year for anyone so far?

Blob

Blip blop blöp.

I'm in a very mixed mood. I'm tired, sad, and excited because I don't have homework.

So I'm going to blog a little bit and then start writing my book/story. I just cant start from the beginning, though. I've started almost 5 times, and it's so hard and I get distracted very easily. It's hard because the setting is a different planet and the inhabitants are aliens and everything is so hard to describe and explain without jumping from the point of view of a character to no point of view.

Gahhhhhhhh...

I might need some help with the beginning. Meanwhile I'll just start from one of my favorite parts, or I'll just write little parts and pieces and put them together later.

Today in class when we talked about utopias, I though 'What is my utopia like?'
Honestly I have no problem with Earth, except the stupid wars and terrorists and disasters. I really like living here.
But I think my imaginary utopia would be the world I created last summer. The planet doesn't have a name yet, but it's aliens are cool and I like the concept. If I lived there, I would be this blue person with like, lilac eyes, and I'd be a pilot who's friends with Adrian and because of that meets Oran. Of course only SOME people will understand what I'm talking about, because they know the characters.

Hm, I'm too lazy to explain the planet, but I can talk about the characters.

The main character is named Kael.
His pessimistic best friend is Oran.
Oran's crush and the ninja is Claudia.
The socially awkward girl is Isadora.
The super powerful soldier is Axel.
Oran's brother and a high ranked pilot is Adrian.
The deceitful pretty girl who betrayed Kael is Extricata.
The maniac evil girl is Ria.
Adrian's friends/fellow pilots are Jay, Rorie, Ruph, and Atarit.
The annoying guy at the Tower is Onime. (he's a very minor character but I love him)
Adrian's good friend is Delmar.

And I haven't named most of the other characters, but it's hard to find names for them (and I use some Roman names or make up random names).

I draw them all the time, but I don't write enough about them.
Uh, I really can't write. It's not writer's block, no. I just don't have the motivation to do it right now.

YAY FIRST BLOG POST OF 2012!
It was a fun night. I hope it will be a fun year.

I decided to make a list of my "lasts of 2011" and "firsts of 2012"

Last thing heard: my cousin shouting

Time for Firsts of 2012:
First action: random cheering
First place: aunts house
First food eaten: crêpes
First drink: tea
First thing written: another message to a friend
First drawing: Guy Gardner!
First book read: "the Hobbit" (loving it)
First video game played: Sims
First song I listened to: a bad remix of "Daddy Cool"
First movie watched: Megamind (a very cute but emotional animation :) )
First thing heard: cheering

I thought that was fun. You don't? Oh well.

I heard a song on the radio and I've been playing it over and over again for the entire day. It's 'Wolf and I' by Oh Land.

I cleaned up most of my room, and the coolest thing I found was this book about the art of the Star Wars: Clone Wars movie and cartoon! It's just so awesome. On some pages someone wrote "Plo Kool!" and there's a Jedi named Plo Koon...Ha ha ha...Am I the only one who finds that amusing?

So I'm reading "the Hobbit". It is just amazing so far. It's entertaining, and funny, and just imagining Bilbo's expressions makes it superb. I should go draw some hobbits now...

Well, here's some art from me:

This is Guy Gardner, he is an arrogant, immature, narcissistic Green Lantern who is actually very caring and seems to never give up. It's not just out of my mind, I drew this looking at a page in the first issue of 'Green Lantern Corps', a title I will definitely follow. I did the lines and inking on 2011, and the colours at, like, the 3rd hour of 2012. Is the colouring is bad then that is why. Also keep in mind I'm NOT a comic book artist and there will of course be mistakes, but generally I am very proud of this.

And then a little digital sketch of Sam and Frodo (I have no idea why, but it LOOKS LIKE THE ACTORS! This was unintentional and probably happened because I had been watching LOTR with Eda.):
